My Morning Walk
Most mornings include barely making it out of bed, being super hungry, but having no appetite for a single dang thing, wishing it was the weekend, and hoping I don't fall into my depression hole - you know the usual things. I make sure as often as possible though to drag myself out of bed and at the very least take a walk around the block.
I like walking with him and seeing the sun shine on his beautiful face, but I love walking by myself - especially in the morning. I don't listen to music. I just walk and look up at the sky and the trees. I especially enjoy when the branches bow and the leaves swing lazily within my reach.
I like to think of what could be, of what is (for which I want to be grateful), or absolutely nothing at all (when possible anyway).
Try it. Talk a walk around the block in the early morning. Try to clear your mind.
The sun, the wind, the crisp air - it's like opening a window to let a cool breeze in.
