The Run...I Mean, The Walk


Yesterday, even though I didn’t feel particularly motivated – you know cramps and such – I went for my walk. It was supposed to be a run, really, but cramps, and a headache, and I was tired, and blah, blah so a walk it was. They say if you walk at least 4 miles it’s as good as any run and I’m inclined to believe it. Anyways… The spot where we walked was so beautiful, scenic and it boosted my motivation. When it all comes down to it though – it did not matter if I was motivated or not.

It would have been easy – and I know because I’ve done it before – to use my depression, my terrible period and cramps, and any other number of things to talk myself out of that run/walk, but sometimes you just have to do it! And so I did. 


So for today, I feel, I deserve to check that daily exercise box.
